How to Qualify for the Federal Tax Rebate
Not all windows qualify for the governement's $1,500 tax rebate. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 has introduced a new energy efficient window tax credit. Thirty percent of the total cost for new windows and a cap of $1,500 will be issued for windows that qualify.
The windows you choose must be energy efficient windows and meet the standards and criteria set to be eligible.
